When I launched Smartdog Jerky™ in 2011, my main goal was to provide a high-premium jerky treat that would make dogs beg for more! Paws down, Smartdog Jerky™ treats are the smart choice for dogs of all sizes and ages.
Being passionate about pets, I wanted to not only create
the healthiest dog treat on the planet, but to raise more awareness about pet adoption. I came up with a win-win solution. Each package of Smartdog Jerky™ features a photo of an adorable dog who has been rescued. We share the tales of these successful adoptions in this website. We also proudly donate a portion of all our jerky to local non-profit pet organizations and humane shelters that are committed to rescuing dogs and finding them loving, permanent homes.
